The Skansen is the first open-air ethnographic museum; it was founded in 1891. Here visitors can find themselves in different epochs and in different parts of Sweden, represented by 160 buildings: houses, villas, workshops. Also there are cafes, restaurants and gift shops in Skansen.

A mini-zoo with northern animals, an aquarium with exotic fish, and a childrens zoo with domestic animals are located in Scansen. In the summer visitors can enjoy attractions and circus shows. Traditional holidays are also celebrated here.

Skansen is open every day, the only holiday is on the 24th of December. Please check the working hours on the official website.
