Mount Charleston is located in 56 kilometers to the north-west of Las-Vegas. The Charleston Peak is the eighth highest mountain in Nevada (3633 meters). The mountain is a part of the Humboldt-Toiyabe national park and the Spring-Mountain National Recreation Area. There are walking trails and a hotel in the park.
