Dolder is a family-friendly leisure complex, located in a green neighbourhood near Zurich. Dolder has an outdoor swimming pool, a mini golf course, an open-air ice rink, and a restaurant.
The pool is 50 meters long and 17.5 meters wide, it has a diving board and is surrounded by 10 000 square meters of lawn, suitable for sports and sunbathing. There is a special play area for children, two paddling pools and a sandpit, as well as four ping pong tables and a volleyball zone. The summer season at the pool lasts from mid May to mid September.
The Dolder Kunsteisbahn open-air 6 000-square-metre ice skating rink was build back in 1930, and to this day remains the largest in Europe. The winter season lasts from beginning of November to mid March.
Dolder also functions as a cultural venue, various art installations and sculptures are presented right in the changing rooms. Concerts, public discussions and movie screenings take place here.
The Dolder Sports restaurant is open all year round and offers a choice of daily specials, including pasta dishes, burgers, salads, etc. Apart from the self-service restaurant, there are two rooms with total seating capacity of 120 people, and in the fondue igloo tent there is space for 25-50 people. The restaurant can also be reserved for private (including family) events, such as fondues and table barbecues.
