In The Naval Museum in Madrid visitors can see models of the ships of different countries and epochs, pictures depicting sea battles, ancient maps, including the oldest one - the map of America by Juan de la Cosa, as well as tin soldiers who demonstrate the military form of the Spanish troops from the Middle Ages up to the present.
Excursions are only in Spanish. Admission to the museum is free, but visitors usually have to pay a donation (nearly 3 Euro) for the maintenance of the museum. To enter the museum the passport is required.
