The National Gallery of Oslo was founded in 1837. The biggest collection of drawings, paintings and sculptures in Norway is exhibited in the Gallery. The main attractions of the museum are "The Scream" and "Madonna" by Edvard Munch and paintings by Cézanne, Manet, Picasso and El Greco. The Astrup Fearnley Museum of Contemporary Art is located on the territory of the Gallery.
The admission is free for children under 18.
