The Spøttrup Castle is located in 17 km from the town of Skive in Jutland, Denmark. Today it is a museum: here visitors can see how people lived 500 years ago.
The museum is open from April to October. The castle is surrounded by a park with a garden of medicinal herbs and a rose garden. Not far from the castle, there is also a lake with rich animal and bird life with an exhibition devoted to it.
Every year the Spøttrup Medieval Castle organizes various events from music festivals and exhibitions to theatre and market days.
