The Banff National Park is one of the oldest national parks in Canada, it was opened in 1885. The park is located in the Rocky Mountains in about 100 km to the West of Calgary in Alberta province.
Visitors can see glaciers and glacier fields, visit the Upper Hot Springs, and the Lake Louise Mountain Resort, Mount Norquay Ski Resort and Sunshine Village, as well as ride horses or go cross-country skiing. The park has many trails for those who enjoy climbing, mountaineering and hiking.
It is possible to stay in the park overnight at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel or at the campsite. Banff Park is open to visitors all year round. Entrance to the national park for children under 6 is always free. Two visitor centers - Banff Visitor Centre and Lake Louise Visitor Centre - are located in the park.

These photos were taken on a family trip to British Columbia in Canada in June of 2017. Natalie and Dmitry visited Lake Luise in Banff National Park, stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, visited the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, and rode the Carode Whistler Peak 2 Peak 360 Experience cable car and the Rocky Mountaneer tourist train.
