The National Mall is an area in downtown Washington D.C, where the most important city monuments and museums are located.

The Washington Monument - a white obelisk with an observation platform on the top (closed for reconstruction until the end of 2019) is situated in the center of the Mall, and the White House occupies the Northern corner.

Lincoln Memorial, the United States Capitol, the botanical garden and several museums are other sights of the National Mall.
